Magnetic and Twist-Lock Connection
For quick access to the smoking pod, the mouthpiece uses a magnet connection that’s easy to remove by applying side-ward pressure to break the magnetic connection. For a more sturdy, stable connection with the battery module, the pod housing utilizes a 90° twist-lock connection. To remove the pod housing to gain access to the arc lighter for cleaning, simply twist it 90° and apply side-ward pressure to break the magnetic connection. When reinstalling the pod housing, always twist it 90° so that either “CIPHER” or “NOVA” is vertically aligned with the button.

Warranty
Cipher will warranty NOVA for a period of one (1) year to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase. All warranty claims require registration of the product and submission of proof of purchase. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable.
The warranty does not apply when electrical damage is caused by using the arc lighter in any other way, except as intended for use with NOVA. The warranty also doesn’t apply when damage occurs due to the device being dropped, abused, submerged in liquid, altered, affected by a natural disaster, or misused in any way. The warranty does not extend to cosmetic marks, dents, chips, scratches, etc. Normal performance degradation of the battery life is not covered by the warranty.

the Cipher Nova is my wife’s favorite device by Far. Highly recommend.
The Nova 2 by Cipher is not just a dry herb pen. It’s a quality, easy-to-use smoking system. $127 gets you a whole smoking kit. Three pod containers with 12 ceramic pods. Smell proof storage bag and a steel storage container for flower!
It’s a very conservative smoking system. The ceramic pods give you a small compact smoke without burning excessive flower. The spring loaded mouthpiece gives you the ability to compress and stir the flower. The arc lighter makes igniting the flower easy. The charges last a long time. This system is great for travel and mobility!
A smooth smoke that provides a system for smoking and easy use! I haven’t tried any attachments, but there are several.
At 51, I’ve purchased and used a lot of smoking apparati over the years. Very rarely do I come across something that I consider to be a “game changer,” but this is just that!
Firstly, the operation and ease of use are stupid proof – there will always be someone to prove me wrong 🙄. The pronged, plunger style bowl stirrer is genius! ***Tip*** Only spin the mouthpiece clockwise, like the instructions say or you WILL unscrew the tip. It goes back on easily, but you don’t want that popping off and losing it in the grass or whatever.
It takes some play to figure out the sweet-spot on how hard to pack the pods. And speaking of the pods, I like many others wish the capacity of the pods were a little larger. I’ve been weighing how much product I’ve been getting in the pods and it’s about 0.25 – 0.30g. Having a couple extra pre- loaded pods are a must if you’re out and about. I’ve come to enjoy my morning routine of coffee, grinding, smoking and preparing a few extra pods for the day.
The battery life is interesting. I’ve never actually run out of juice, but I’ve gotten the red flashing light when I’ve turned it to indicate a low charge. I’ve hit it three or four times when the light comes on, but I’ve managed to plug it in before it died. And it charges fast.
The best part of this is you can be in public and not look like a crack addict having both hands in use to light and hold the pipe. This blends in with the vape crowd…though you are not completely stealth, you are still smoking weed and that smells like…weed.
This awesome little pipe won’t be replacing my other pieces, it’ just fantastic tool that fits a need I had…discrete flower smoking in public. I’ve been so impressed I’ve purchased two more for gifts.

The only reason this gets 4 stars is the small pods. If there was a way to redesign so that the pods were a little bigger for heavier smokers, it would get 5 stars. Aside from that, it is awesome!
