Glazed ceramic pods can be interchanged inside NOVA with a quick disconnect of the magnetic mouthpiece. Load ground material directly into the installed pod, or fill the extra pods (the kit includes a total of 7 pods) and store them in the smell-proof pod container for later use. The pod system is designed with restricted airflow, which causes a natural self-extinguishing, so your material only burns when you want it to.

Magnetic and Twist-Lock Connection
For quick access to the smoking pod, the mouthpiece uses a magnetic connection that’s easy to remove by applying side pressure to break the magnet. For a more secure, stable connection to the battery module, the pod housing uses a 90° twist-lock. To remove the pod housing to access the arc lighter for cleaning, simply twist it 90° and apply side pressure to break the magnetic connection. When reinstalling the pod housing, always make sure to twist it 90° so that either “CIPHER” or “NOVA” is vertically aligned with the button.

3-in-1 Water Hookah Configurations
The NOVA Glass Hookah can be configured and used in three different ways:
- Dual-whip: Grab a smoking partner, load a bowl, and see who can take the biggest hit! Simply connect the silicon adapters, insert a hose into each adapter, and you’re ready to go.
- Single-whip: You don’t need a partner to enjoy the hookah in a solo sesh. Simply remove one hose and silicon adapter, and install a silicon cap over the glass connector. Load a bowl and enjoy a water-cooled hookah experience like no other!
- Micro bong: Enjoy the convenience of a personal micro bong by inserting a glass mouthpiece directly into the silicon adapter. Leave the opposing glass connector uncapped for use as a carb, or install one of the supplied silicon caps.
Home Base
Specifically designed to hold NOVA in an upright position for use with the hookah attachment, or for simply holding NOVA in a convenient way when not in use. To make the sessions more convenient, the base has slots for holding six (6) pods, so you grab one and load NOVA at a moment’s notice. Usable with or without the support collar, based on your personal preference. Easy cleaning with soap and water or 91% Isopropyl Alcohol.

Easy To Assemble
NOTE: We suggest reviewing the how-to instructions for visual guidance on the steps to fill the hookah with water and to get the most out of your hookah.
Start by inserting the included hoses into one or both silicon adapters, and then slide the silicon adapter over the glass fitting on the hookah glass. If preparing for solo use, attach one of the included silicon caps to the 2nd connector. Next, insert the mouthpiece adapter into each end of the hose, then push a glass mouthpiece onto the open end of the adapter (the one with the two black O-rings). You’re now ready to drop a packed pod into NOVA and connect the hookah attachment.
Easy To Use
With NOVA installed in the home base, remove the standard mouthpiece (it’s not required when using NOVA as a hookah). Drop a packed pod into NOVA and magnetically connect the hookah attachment to your NOVA. Click NOVA’s power button rapidly 5 times within 2 seconds to turn the power on. When ready to smoke, hold the button for a few seconds to ignite the ground flower while one or two people gently inhale. Once smoke appears in the hose(s), release the power button to stop the lighter.
Easy To Clean
Cleaning is quick and easy. Simply disassemble the parts and soak in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Then, rinse in warm soapy water, rinse, and let dry.

Cipher warrants NOVA to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. All warranty claims require product registration and proof of purchase. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Cipher does not warrant the NOVA Water Hookah Kit because it has no electronic parts that could become defective. Upon receiving the order, we encourage you to inspect it for any defects and promptly notify us of any issues by emailing [email protected]. The glass and hoses are considered wear items and can be replaced for purchase HERE.
The warranty does not apply when electrical damage is caused by using the arc lighter in any other way, except as intended for use with NOVA. The warranty also doesn’t apply if the device is dropped, abused, submerged in liquid, altered, affected by a natural disaster, or otherwise misused. The warranty does not extend to cosmetic marks, dents, chips, scratches, etc. Normal battery life degradation is not covered by the warranty.
